About Us

D & A Factors was opened on March 1st 1990 in Main Street, Barry. It employed two members of staff and had one delivery van. By 1997 D & A Factors was employing eight members of staff and had three delivery vans. It was at this point that D & A Factors realised that it was ready to open a second depot.

In July 2001 we relocated it to a purpose built facility, with over eleven and a half thousand square foot of space and very prominent position at Nantgarw, Cardiff. It now employs eighteen members of staff and has 8 delivery vehicles servicing Cardiff, Pontypridd, Llantrisant and other local areas.

In July 2009 the company moved its head office from the original site in Main Street Barry to its new multipurpose built unit in a very prominent position with over nineteen thousand square foot at Cardiff Road Barry servicing Barry, Penarth, West Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

On January 2nd 2014 we opened our third branch in the heart of the Rhondda where we had an existing customer base that required the needs of its own local D & A Factors branch. It now employs 9 members of staff with 4 vans servicing the area.

What We Do

We offer a very successful delivery service to over 500 customers between our four depots and with a fleet of thirty vans constantly on the road we are able to provide a 'more than satisfactory' service.

We carry an extensive range of stock in all depots which is constantly updated to ensure that we have excellent availability at all times.

We now employ over 60 members of staff to ensure we can give our customers the best possible service.
